An overall goal of Sweden’s aid is to reduce poverty. But how can we identify who is living in poverty, and how can we work to improve their living conditions?
Over the past eight years, Sida has used an analytical model to understand and address the various dimensions of poverty. There is broad international consensus that poverty is not just a lack of money or material resources. Poverty must be understood in its many different dimensions.
A new evaluation, Evaluation of Sida’s Application of Multidimensional Poverty Analyses, assesses how Sida has used its analytical model, what results it has led to, and how aid has been affected.
Registration opens at 13:00. The seminar will not be broadcast live, but will be available on our website afterwards. The seminar will held in swedish, except for the presentation by Andrew Sumner.
