By March 31 each year the EBA submits a report to the Government of Sweden summarising the content and conclusion of our reports and seminars. In the 2017 Aid Review we present work conducted during 2016 and also briefly summarise our ongoing work. The report is written for a wide audience of policy makers, practitioners and students as well as the general public with an interest in development issues.
To enhance the work on a policy for migration and development, a study looks into how the sharp increase in migratory flows has affected Swedish development cooperation. Reports concerning Sweden’s Policy for Global Development (PGU) and concerning the division of responsibility between various Swedish actors in the implementation of Agenda 2030 have also been published. Three of the studies from 2016 dealt with Sweden’s support to Africa. One constituted a direct contribution to the Government’s effort to draw up a new regional strategy for cooperation with sub-Saharan Africa.
