In this jointly organised EBA/Sida seminar, we will discuss how global poverty reduction has slowed over the past five years, and that the prospects for further progress are slim.
What does this mean for the global fight against poverty? How can we understand and counter factors and processes that keep people in extreme poverty? How can we accelerate positive developments in times of slower economic growth and increasing planetary pressure? And how can increased insights into poverty strengthen development cooperation?
Join us in a discussion with leading voices in the field, about the current state of poverty reduction, aid and development. We will hear representatives from the World Bank, Sida and EBA give their views on the matter.
The seminar will be held in English.
Please note: The seminar will not be live streamed or available for later viewing online.
